Aha! How I've missed your posts!

Most people at the events you refer to aren't cross, it's more about optimism: wanting to make a difference to the benefit of the country, rather than the narrow-minded, incompetent, self-serving corruption forced upon us during 13 years of Tory misrule, supported by the sorts of people that regard the government's performance as acceptable and appropriate. Voting Tory is for those who have an essential part of their soul missing.
Off topic but the left aren’t optimistic and it’s ridiculous to suggest they are. It’s all about envy with them.

I consider myself to be socialist and certainly more left than right, (the Labour Party at the moment is neither but that's by the by)
I also believe that if people have worked hard to earn their fortune and pay their fair share in regards to tax then it's none of anyone's business what they spend their disposable on
