If you reached into an ambulance on a job and threw the keys into a river, you'd get lynched.

So why is deliberately causing an enormous traffic jam much different? Either way you're dramatically upping someone poor bd's chance of dying today.

That women in the road in Surbiton high st would have been moved pretty sharpish if no police were around...

Very true, these selfish self centred fools are so blinkered as to not realise the consequences of their actions. Of course they would say that is an unfortunate situation if somebody should suffer through delays of medical attention, but we look at the bigger picture. Maybe if ‘the consequences’ were directly related to their families maybe, just maybe these people would reflect upon their idiocy.

I see that their demonstrating is about making other people's lives a misery, they are a menace to mankind.

I had insulation added to my house for free under a scheme a few years ago. This was open to a lot of people. I don't know of the take up, but it doesn't feel like its the Government's fault... (for once).
I had free cavity wall insulation (I'm not on any kind of benefit).

No, the government doesn't appear to be at fault.
Same - my wife and I are both working and not in receipt of any benefits at all.
Apologies if it came across that I was implying anything- absolutely not my intention.

And look at the protestors, they look more like middle class Guardian readers than crusties. The two on the train, especially the one with the pony tail got what they deserved.
That has proper cheered me up - that baldie Stathamish character and pony-tail boy - the sheer panic rofl and the way everyone starts putting the boot in.

You can tell that the way they're having a "sit in" up on the roof they think they're going to get the touchy-feely Police approach, but nope - their stuff gets tossed off the top and they do too.

It's odd that the rozzers wouldn't let people sit in parks last year but this year they let people stand in the road.

Much as Polish workers have been sent home but we're welcoming 10,000 people in inflatable dinghies and just about anyone who's fed up with living in Afghanistan.

Welcome to Boris' Better Britain.

If I as a random psycho bloke sat in the road like that, I would be quickly removed by police for my own safety.

So why the fk can't they do that with moronic protestors?

They should have been unceremoniously dragged out of the way, slung in a van and carted away. I don't have an issue with people protesting but this kind of stupid behaviour certainly doesn't help their cause.

Bring back the stocks along with rotten fruit and veg to throw at them, bunch of pillocks.

Go to insulate Britain website & send them an email expressing one's feelings. Their servers could get jammed up pretty quickly with negative feedback!

If the police continue failing to do their job and protect the public, eventually the public will start dealing with issues themselves.
The people on the scene before the police arrived should've dragged them off and, er, made sure they wouldn't do it again. s

Of all the stations in the country to do that, they chose Canning Town. rofl

They're lucky they walked away.

yes I cannot believe the police restrained the person trying to clear the road. Once more people see this happening they will do the police' job for them if they are unwilling to do it.

Why don't the police just drag them out of the way ?

What law stops them from doing that ?

This, what is stopping the Police from pulling their finger and doing something useful.

Nobody knows... Although hopefully it will be sorted in the Crime bill that the melts were crying about recently that is making it's way through Parliament at the moment.
